I've been doing A LOT of thinking over the past few months and I've been rather quiet about it...and for good reason. I don't like to bad mouth but I've been incredibly disappointed with the agent I signed to back in April. If anything, I've felt held back and unable to pursue avenues I would've done had I not been contracted otherwise (and can I mention she hasn't got me a single piece of work?!). Anyway, after questioning said agent and not being satisfied with her response... I DECIDED TO HAND MY 30 days NOTICE IN! I'm scared of going it alone but I think I can do a darn sight better by myself and if it all goes wrong, well, I have nobody to blame but myself!
Oh, you brave, amazing thing! I don't doubt you have all it takes to be incredible. All the best of luck in this new adventure.
ReplyDeleteI have been with my agent since February, they're rubbish! Can't wait for next Feb when they release my 17 designs and I can sell them myself. I recon you're much better off without them, enjoy it!
